- When Chris Blake announced that she would be leaving Lake Munro at the end of the 2009-2010 school year, she said she had been the principal for 10 years, making her first school year at Lake Munro the 2000-2001 school year.
- In season 1 Chris Blake was talking with Vince Richards about his second year teaching at Lake Munro. That season depicted the 2008-2009 school year which means that his first year was during the 2007-2008 school year.
